Morale is low. The 8 surviving tomato plants have stopped growing new leaves and many of the flowers have withered away. When I noticed this beginning to happen, I decided to intervene and try to pollinate the flowers myself. It felt violating and I think we all had a long look in the mirror when it was over. It also does not seem to have worked, so I’m not sure I even pollinated them correctly. Idk, I’m not a bee. What was supposed to be a productive tomato orgy ended up being more failure. I continue to be constantly humbled by gardening.
