4/3/25

Today I woke up and checked on my plants to see who made it through the night. Some of them looked a little too close to each other still and I decided to move them. These seedlings were sturdy enough to stay standing after their relocation. Okay, some of them were a bit wobbly, but I packed more dirt around them until they looked like they were buried in sand up to their neck and all wobbling subsided.

One reason for the replanting was to consolidate some of the seedlings and free up some of the real estate on my TV table that’s been doubling as a beginning (/end) of life station. Side note- I no longer watch TV, the plants are in the way and occupy much of my time and attention.

On my patio garden, my plumerias are starting to show new leaves. Well, 2 of them are, then the entire top broke off of the other one when I touched it. It was like a dried up sponge and crumbled between my fingers…so I’m not really sure what’s happening there, but it’s not looking good. It’s the plant my dad gave to me most recently. Pawning off a dying plant on me- real sportsmanlike.
